I painted this a while back never got to finish it so I did that today :D

A Collab with Miss Yurtsev!

So earlier this year when I was taking my last live action class with Miss yurtsev, she started this in clss and send it over and then in class we did collab until Julia got busy and bailed SO I had to finish it LOL. But during this process we found out if Mushk Rizvi + Julia Yurtsev= Mulia Yurzvi was a student she would kick some ass! lol Anyways here the thing and the process along with it! I labeled them with M and J so you can see what she did and then what I did. Hopefully we'll be doing more stuff soon. :)

old stuff

This is one of the paintings I did for my narrative painting class. I tried to go with a different old school style in this and also I was taking Sacred geometry so implied the root 3 squares in it as-well, and utilized the sixth and third both horizontally and vertically, so overall this was an pretty experimental painting and withhhhhhhhhhh multiple figuuuuuures too lol. I put alotta time in but im not happy with it. I thought I might be able to fix it later but i caaaaaan't! I caaaaant do it no more so im not gonna work on it :b, maybe in another million years which isnt gonna happen. So I understood using root 3 rectangle ones needs to very smart with staging and placemeeeeents! XD Heres the initials

Graduation!

I'm Finally done from school! Four years from now I started my journey at the academy of arts. Coming from Pakistan having a language barrier, culture difference, home sickness feeling, missing my friends and coming from an engineering background, let me say IT WASN'T easy AT ALL!!! However I overcame it all slowly and steadily and worked really hard to the point I got carpal tunnel which is not good. I'd like to thank all my awesome teachers for helping me, especially Craig Nelson for bearing me while I ate his brains xD. All the awesome people I met here who were and remain my inspiration thank you Evan Davies, Richard Healy, Alfredo, Hannah Stephens and Diane Wu for looking out for me yesterday when i was in lots of pain T_T thanks guys! On that note i will post my very first drawing which i did 4.5 years from today when I was about to start (I was 17 then and I was so proud of myself lol) school so everyone can have a good laugh at me, and i thought I was good. This is fanart of ff12 btw.

Also I'm working on this personal project and THIS serves as the cover page for it. I'll upload other stuff I have maybe tomrw. There are so many things I did but unfortunatly I cant post them up because they are amazingly crappy

Illumination led the way

Asusual have been super busy with everything going on, work, school and family relative. So im juggling everyting at one, its kinda fun keeping me busy. This is what I did from my narrative painting and my teacher was Craig Nelson, who is awesome. Finally did the final touches on these and here it is. :) Hope everyone is dong AWESOME!

Society of illustrators and Creative Qaurterly

I never posted this. I thought about it but never got around to, this semester has been krrrrrrrrrraaaazzzzzzzy. Anyways I did get into the society of illustrators this year. Thumbnails , isometric characters and discoveries

So here are my thumbnails.I took my sweet time with these, watching dramas, history channels, eating food and playing video games. My spring break was fun and I discovered that my neighbors are some guy who works at Pixar and some monks. The monks were awesome. One them is like a warrior monk and I'm totally gonna get him to pose for me muahahahaha. I got around to be active as well, which I think I should make a part of my daily routine and not be lazy. I think doing thumbnail is like the super fun part of making an illustration or coming up with a concept. I like doing my thumbnails in pen and ink, helps you see the big shape and design you come with around it. fun fun fun! Anyways here the 100 thumbnails and then their variations.

Surviving the fall!

Yesss so I'm surviving so far. I've had fever and flu so far and then tendinitis too in my drawing hand T-T, but an artist gotta do what an artist gotta do, DDDDDDDDDDDRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW. Here's some finished work from my perspective class, or so I think it's finished T-T. I'm gonna post all my other work soon. I keep on forgetting about my post. I'll also be uploading some case studies for the stuff I've been asked for.

I'm enjoying the class so far, very challenging and pushing me to go think shapes, variation and color faster. I mean this is not the level I want to be at, this is not as good, but I had no idea i can work on thing this fast. I'm happy to have awesome teacher and also that I'm not scared anymore of alot of work, unless my hands falls apart *DUN DUN DUN* <.< then that'll be bad. Your comments and critques are most welcome and. Hope you guys like. :)
